Heat will host Sixers for the 25th match of the Aus T20 League 2022 at the Gabba, Brisbane on Sunday, January 1. Sixers are now giving their all in every game they play. They have won four straight games. Heat, on the other hand, have only one win in five games this season.

Heat played their last game against the Thunders. Batting first, Thunders posted a formidable total of 183 runs. In reply, the Brisbane based franchise could only manage 171 runs, handing them their third consecutive loss. Despite the loss, the men in blue showed tremendous fight. The match went right down to the wire with Heat requiring 17 off the final over. Unfortunately for them, Nathan McAndrew bowled a splendid 20th over to seal the game for Thunders. Heat’s only win came against the Strikers earlier this season. They certainly need to sort out their batting woes ahead of this fixture. 

Sixers are coming on the back of two back to back wins against the Renegades. First they produced a fine all round show at home followed by a clinical display away to consolidate their position at the top of the order. Chris Jordan- The English international is recognised for his proficiency with the ball. With the Gabba surface projected to provide assistance to fast bowlers, the 34 year old will  shoulder the bowling responsibility for his side.
