In a must win game, Bangladesh are very much likely to come all guns blazing and register an emphatic win over Papua New Guinea. PNG on the other hand have lost all their matches. Oman gave them a lot of pressure at one point but the Bangladeshi bowlers lived up to the expectation and stopped Oman from going the distance. Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan were brilliant with the bowl as Fizz took four while Shakib took three. The bowlers have definitely been the positives for Bangladesh. However, in order to qualify and do well in the main round, the batters need to step up and be a bit consistent in the middle.

Papua New Guinea’s dream may just get shattered tonight. They have played well in matches leading up to the qualifiers but the other big boys were too much on this new cricketing nation. Captain Vala will have a tough job in hand. Before bowing out, they can be the talk of the town. Beating Bangladesh and stopping them from qualifying can actually be historic and that might actually change their cricketing culture forever.
