Preview 

After one and a half months of exhilarating T20 action we’re down to the final chapter of the tournament. CSG and LKK will lock horns in the Final contest of the ongoing edition of the Tamil Nadu T20 League on Sunday, July 31 at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore. The defending champion CSG will be taking on the LKK for the sixth title of the tournament. CSK defeated NRK to reach the finals. LKK on the other hand picked form at the right moment and edged past NRK in a thriller to advance through. 

CSG have been instrumental throughout the tournament. Be it bowling, batting or fielding, the reigning champions have excelled in every department of the game. This is the third time in a row when Kaushak Gandhi’s side have made it to the finals of the T20 competition. A clinical effort against NRK in qualifier 1 earned them a place in the finals. S Radhakrishnan who missed out in the last game is set to return for the final game. His return will bolster the batting prowess which already has the likes of Narayan Jagadeesan, Kaushik Gandhi and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore. They also have powerful strikers in the form of Rajagopal Sateesh down the order who are very much capable of hitting a long ball. In the bowling department they have Sonu Yadav and R. Alexandar in their ranks. They have been consistent in the last few games. Both of these will have the onus to keep the opposition batters in check in the middle overs as LKK have good batting firepower. 

LKK triumphed in a nail biting affair to book a place in the finals. They chased down a colossal total of 208 to register a famous victory against their rivals. Shahrukh Khan scored a whirlwind 58 to knock NRK out of the tournament. Despite the win, Khan would be hoping his bowlers to do better. LKK bowlers were taken to the cleaners by NRK batters and fetched too many runs in the process. The bowling prowess need to get their act straight and come up with a much improved show on Sunday.
