India take on South Africa in the first game of the five-match T20I series on Thursday. The match will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. With big players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah missing, it will be interesting to see how the young guns perform under the leadership of Rishabh Pant. The T20I series will provide an excellent opportunity for a fair few to make a name for themselves, especially looking ahead to the T20 World Series this year in Australia. 

The visitors have named a full strength 16 member squad for the series. India on the other hand has 18 players to pick from in their playing XI. All three are coming on the back of a stunning Ind T20 League season and will be keen to continue on their imperious form in India.

South Africa have a relatively more stable squad than India. They have put emphasis on experience within their side which can slightly work in their favour. India however will have the home advantage. Expect an evenly matched contest between bat and ball. We fancy India to hold onto their nerves and go one up in this fascinating series.
