2nd T20: IND vs WI 

Preview 

After winning the first T20 International pretty comfortably, Team India will be looking to finish the series in the second T20I only. If they are able to beat the West Indies in the second T20I, the men in blue then try some different combinations in the third T20I, which is very important as the T20 World Series is not that far away. West Indies, on the other hand, will give their all to make a comeback. The team lost all four of their matches against India and they will look to take something back at least. There’s no doubt that they are a solid bunch of a group and if it’s their day, West Indies players have the ability to defeat India.

Nicolas Pooran’s 61 runs in the previous match will help the team massively. He is an important player for the side and was out of form for a long time. If he gets his mojo back, West Indies can be a dangerous side. The top order needs some kind of support from the middle order which they are not getting. Kieron Pollard needs to play like he plays for Mumbai in the Indian T20 League. When it comes to bowling, the team did decently. Batting is their main concern and if they can fix that, expect a cracking contest tonight!

Team India looks good over and out. Virat Kohli’s form remains a concern but Captain Rohit Sharma isn’t too bothered with that. Another player who can get better is Rishabh Pant. Pant needs to be more consistent with the bat in hand. In the last match, things were pretty much under control and yet the left hander went for a glorious shot and gave away his wicket. He needs to stop that and help the team to cross the line. Ravi Bishnoi was fantastic in the last match and you can expect him to deliver once again. Another player who needs to deliver is Venkatesh Iyer. He was good in the last match but needs to keep on performing to seal his place in the Indian team. Otherwise, with Hardik Pandya’s return, things might get a bit complicated.
