9th Match: ADKR vs DV

The 9th match of the International T20 League will be between ADKR and DV. The game is scheduled at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Friday, January 20, 2023.  

ADKR is in their poorest of poor form in the inaugural season of the league. They have lost all three opponents they have played so far. DV on the other side will be confident about their players' performance and has won both the matches they have played in this league season.

ADKR posted 133 runs with the service of Bradon King smashing 57 runs off 44 balls to provide a strong side. But gradually the other batters failed to put an impact on the scoreboard. Wanindu Hasaranga kept it tight, shattering three scalps along with Gus Atkinson taking two wickets. 

Later in the second half, Alex Hales played a tremendous inning of 64 runs off 47 balls to power the innings. Sam Billings remained unbeaten at a score of 35 runs to bring the victory for the DV side in just 15.4 overs. The opponent bowlers namely skipper Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and Akeal Hosein took one wicket apiece which was definitely not enough to defend such a low-scoring total.
