Islamabad will face Karachi in match 21 of the Pak T20 League at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. With three wins and as many losses in six games, Shadab Khan and co are positioned at third place in the league standings. They are coming off a loss against Quetta in their previous fixture. Karachi on the other have had a woeful campaign so far. They are yet to open their account this season and are still looking for the first win of 2022. 

After a shaky start to their campaign, Islamabad have found their groove. Skipper Shadab has led from the front and has made significant contributions with both bat and ball. The 23 year old will hold the key for the men in orange as the tournament progresses. Batting department has the likes of Alex Hales, Rahman Gurbaz and Azam Khan. They have done well and expect them to come good against a fragile Karachi bowling attack. Mohommad Wasim Jr and Hasan Ali will be the bowlers to watch out for. Overall the Islamabad unit looks settled and ready to take on Babar’s men. 

Abysmal. One word that perfectly describes Karachi’s performance in Pak T20 League 2022. They have lost six games on trot and consequently are languishing at the bottom of the table. Batting has hardly clicked, bowling has not been up to the mark and Babar Azam’s decisions as skipper have also been questionable. Other teams have been just too good for them and as a result Kings have found themselves at the receiving end every single time. Senior pros Sharjeel and Babar will need to step up their game and try to provide their team a flourishing start with the bat. Chris Jordan was impressive in the last game with ball in hand but got no support from the other end. Umaid Asif and Aamer Yamin have done well in patches but have failed to maintain consistency. All in all this team requires a clinical all round show to turn things around in the T20 competition.
