Everything that’s wrong with “ATK” Mohun Bagan before their AFC Cup tie

Never in the history of Indian football had we come across the fact that the team management is not letting their fans carry Tifos, Banners and other such things in the stadium. Now, with Sanjeev Goenka in-charge of the club, the fans are getting impatient as for more than 2 years now, the team management is acting deaf and never really listened to their fans. Now, for the first time after the merge, the Green and Maroon brigade will play in front of their fans and they want to take full advantage of it and protest against the idea of being a merged club.

Thus, fans planned to carry banners and all that but the management decided to ban it. Even when the state government allowed selling 100% tickets, the management decided to go against it and sell only a certain percentage of it. So, it’s crystal clear that the management is aware of what the fans want but they are not doing anything to calm the situation down.

It’s now been reported that the prefix before Mohun Bagan is likely to change but promises mean nothing to the Mariners. They know how the club officials can trick the fans in order to get the job done. With everyone united in this hour of need, the roads in Kolkata will write a new chapter of protest. It’s an intense situation but the fans are ready to do everything possible to ‘save’ Mohun Bagan and restore its prestige and honour.
