Nasim Shah hospitalised with pneumonia

Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah has been hospitalised with pneumonia, and is uncertain for the remainder of the England T20Is. Reports suggest that Naseem was admitted to hospital late on Tuesday night. 

 "The decision on Naseem Shah's further participation in the [England] series will be taken after reviewing his medical reports," the Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement.

After the conclusion of the England series on October 2, the men in green will head to New Zealand the next day to compete in a T20I tri series with Bangladesh which will go on from October 7 to 14. They will then fly to Australia for the World T20, where their campaign begins in October against India in Melbourne. 

Pakistan Cricket Board will hope Naseem Shah, who came in as injured Shaheen Afridi’s replacement during the recently-concluded Asia T20, will recover in time to appear in the grand event.
