The New Zealand T20 League is entering as an electrifying phase where every franchise is trying their best to move up the points table. Every team has experimented with their squads and now has their best formations and will try to gain points from every match. CES and OTA will lock horns for the 20th match of the New Zealand T20 League on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Although their bowlers didn’t have their best day as they gave away 191 runs at the end of 20 overs. Jayden Lennox (3/31) and Randell (3/32) were the bowlers in pair who ensured a narrow win. Ajaz Patel also bowled an economical spell and had figures of 3-0-20-0. 

Otago on the other side chased down a target of 123 runs in just 19.2 overs in their previous game. Dean Foxcroft, Michael Rippon, and Llew Johnson played good 20+ cameos and anchored their side to win the game. 

Their bowlers were in their best form as they bowled out the opposition for a low-scoring target of 120 runs at an 8-wicket loss. Michael Rae picked up 3 wickets in 4 overs, giving away just 18 runs. Also, Ben Lockrose picked up a couple of wickets to restrict the flow of runs.

CES have hard-hitting batters in their line-up. OTA’s top order have been very quite consistent and needs to get a lead in this game to seal a good spot on the points table. They also have a strong bowling lineup when compared to CES and the proof can be seen in their last match performance. But as CES is also in a good form and are getting the home advantage, we expect them to win this match.
