Pakistan and West Indies lock horns in the third and final T20I match of the series on December 16 at the National Stadium, Karachi. After attaining an unassailable lead, the hosts will look to extend their win streak to three games and complete a whitewash over the Windies. Having already lost the series, the visitors will look to finish the series on a high. Prior to the series, the Carribeans suffered a meaty blow. Majority of their regulars opted out for the Pak tour and a few fell prey to COVID-19. Nicolas Pooran led the side in the absence of Keiron Pollard but has so far failed to get things right. 

The hosts have been clinical in all three departments in this series so far. Batting looks in good shape with Mohommad Rizwan leading the charge. He has been in fine form and would be hoping to continue his good form. Haider Ali is another player to watch out for. He played a gem of an inning in the series opener. The 68 run knock was studded with six fours and four sixes. Skipper Babar has missed out on two occasions and would be keen to get some runs under his belt. Shaheen Afridi will shoulder the responsibility of the bowling attack  that comprises the likes of Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf. The bowling unit is also bolstered by the addition of Mohammad Wasim Jr who has picked 6 wickets in 2 games.

After getting outplayed in the opening game, Windies bounced back well and showed good fight but eventually fell short by 9 runs in the steep run chase. Brandon King top scored with a classy 67. With little contributions from the other end, the 26 year old had the onus to do the majority of scoring. Romario Shepherd 19 ball 35 closed the gap but wasn’t really enough to take the visitors over the line. West Indies will need to sort out their batting woes before the final encounter in order to enjoy a favourable result.
