Renegades and Strikers are set to cross swords in match number 3 of the Aus-T20 League on Tuesday, December 7. The Strikers will be led by veteran Peter Siddle as their main men  Alex Carey and Travis Head are with the Australian test side for the Ashes. Kane Richardson will lead the Renegades outfit in the absence of Nic Madison. Aaron Finch is no more their skipper as he stepped down from the position last month. The riveting clash is hosted at the Docklands stadium where Strikers have the upper hand. In the last four fixtures at this venue Strikers have won 4 out of 5 games. 

After a disappointing 2020, the Renegades unit will look for a big turnaround this time around. Last year they were woeful in all three departments and consequently ended at the bottom of the table. With new incharge, the men in red will be keen to begin their campaign with a win. They have a few huge names like Kane Richardson, Aaron Finch, James Pattinson and among others who will have to play their part in order for the Renegades to start well.  

On the other hand, Strikers had a mediocre outing last year. They finished third with 7 wins and 7 losses in 14 games. They made it to the eliminator round but were knocked out by Brisbane which brought an end to their campaign. After a topsy turvy 2020, Strikers will look to start this season on a high. They will however miss the services of Alex Carrey and Travis Head who are with the Australian test unit for the forthcoming Ashes series. Rashid Khan, Jake Weatheralad, Jonathan Wells, Wes Agar and Peter Siddle are a few of the names to watch out for.
