Team India's ODI captain Rohit Sharma's wife Ritika Sajdeh took a jibe at the media houses or paparazzi who are sharing the images of injured Rishabh Pant on social media. Pant, who met with an accident on Friday morning in Roorkee. The clips of Pant after he met with the accident have been viral on social media. Ritika lashed out at people for sharing Pant's clips and being insensitive.

Ritika shared a story on her Instagram account and she wrote, "Shame on you for posting images and videos of someone who's hurt and unable to decide whether or not they want that out there. They have family and friends who were affected by these images. There's journalism and then there is just plain insensitivity."

The 25-year-old left-handed batter suffered head and leg injuries in the accident. The car caught fire after the accident and the car was completely burnt. Pant was taken out by breaking the glass of the car and was rushed to the hospital. Pant was returning from Delhi to his home in Uttarakhand. His car met with an accident near Roorkee's Narsan border.

Pant suffered injuries on his head and leg. He also has a lot of back injuries. A medical update of Rishabh Pant says "He is stable". His teammates and other sports fraternity came in support of Rishabh Pant and wished him a speedy recovery. According to a statement released by the Indian Cricket Council, Pant faced ‘two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back’.

Rishabh Pant is conscious and able to talk and express his thoughts clearly as per the reports. DDCA president Rohan Jaitley said, "Rishab Pant's condition is out of danger. Pant's family and DDCA will provide all the help required". No burns and no fractures on the body of Rishabh Pant were indicated by the first X-ray report.

India's former red-ball skipper Virat Kohli also took to his Twitter account to send his wishes for Rishabh Pant. “Get well soon @RishabhPant17. Praying for your recovery,” Kohli wrote.
