In order to keep their hopes alive for a semi-final spot in the World T20 Series, it's going to be a very important match for South Africa. Bangladesh, on the other hand, is yet to win a match in the super 12. Their hunger and desperation should cause damage but with Bangladesh, nothing is really certain.

There were a lot of expectations from Bangladesh. Mostly because the conditions are more or less similar and thus Bangladesh will have an upper hand. Apparently, nothing worked for them at all. Their bowling used to be their strength but has given pain to the fans. After a brilliant 2019 World Series, a lot was expected from Shakib Al Hasan as well. He did give his best but that was never enough to bring Bangladesh out of danger. He needed a lot of support from his fellow mates but no one stood up and thus Bangladesh had a horrible time everytime they came to the field. Do they have enough power to beat South Africa? No one can say it for sure because as mentioned earlier, nothing is really certain when it comes to Bangladesh. They were and still are the dark horses. However, this time, they will be the dark horse of just this match, as they failed to show their potential in the main tournament. 

South Africa made a brilliant comeback in their last match against Sri Lanka. When Sri Lanka had the match right in their hands, David Miller and Kagiso Rabada took that away from them. Their bowling has also been very good in the ongoing tournament. The combination of Rabada, Nortje and Shamsi is working. However, Quinton de Kock and Van der Dussen need to be more consistent with the bat. After all the speculations and drama, De kock needs to show that his bat can still do the talking and that it didn't distract him from the outside noise. In order for South Africa to do well, De Kock needs to step up.
