Injured Kane Richardson is out of the ODI series against Sri Lanka

After Mitchell Starc, it is another pacer in the form of Kane Richardson who has been ruled out of the ODI series against Sri Lanka following an injury. It is reported that the speedster is suffering from a hamstring injury and will travel back to Australia. Meanwhile Mitchell Starc needs six stitches on his index finger of his bowling arm while Mitch Marsh is suffering from a calf strain. Both the Aussies will at least miss the first two matches of the ODI series and if the Aussies manage to get the win in both these matches, they can very well take some rest in the third one as well.

Pat Cummins was also injured towards the end of the Indian T20 League but the test captain will make his return in the One Day team. With Richardson and Hazlewood by his side, the trio will look forward to do some damage to the Sri Lankan batting line-up and win the series comfortably. Something that they did in the T20I Series.
