Preview 

Ind-W and SL-W will lock horns in the third and final match of the ODI series at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele on Thursday July 7. With the series already in the bag, the visitors will now look to complete a 3-0 whitewash. They have been dominant right throughout the tour and it will be interesting to see if they can end the tour on a high. SL-W on the other hand are yet to create an impact thus far. Their performance has not been up to the mark as a result are trailing the series 2-0. Except for a consolation win in the third T20I, SL-W have failed to make a mark this season. 

IND-W comprehensively defeated the hosts in the last game to gain an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Batting first the hosts were bundled out for 173. Renuka Singh continued her dream run with ball in hand and ended the game with match figures of 4/28. Then India’s opening pair Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Varma put together a match winning 174 run stand to seal the series. 

Substandard. One word that aptly describes SL-W's shoddy show against IND-W. They haven’t excelled in any front and thus find themselves in grave danger of facing a whitewash. Sl-W will need to play out their skins in order to gain a consolation win and salvage some pride.
