The 20th match of the Sri Lanka T20 League 2022 will be played between GG and DA at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo at 07:30 PM IST on Monday, 19th December 2022. This will be the last league stage match of the tournament and the 4th position is at stake. This was DA's first and only victory in this season of the Sri Lanka T20 League. After a season with a streak of 5 losses, they ultimately found their victory, but can they repeat the same performance in this match?

On the other side, the Galle franchise has won two games against CS and KF respectively. Both were won with a low margin of 25 and 12 runs in the order. They faced JK in their last encounter which they lost by a 16-run margin. 

With the playoffs in focus, both teams will focus on the fourth position to avoid elimination. GG just needs a simple win to qualify whereas DA will have to win by a huge margin to boost their run rate above GG to grab the fourth spot and get to the next stage.
