JK will lock horns with DA in the seventh match of the Sri Lanka T20 League 2022. The match is scheduled at 7:30 PM on Sunday, December 11, 2022. JK played their second match against DG which they won by 9 wickets. The Dambulla side while batting first posted 121 runs with the help of opener Jordan Cox who smashed 43 runs off just 22 balls. Maheesh Theekshana and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth took three wickets each along with James Fuller who picked two to restrict the opponents to a low-scoring target. JK was pretty quick while chasing the target, Opener Sadeera Samarawickrama and Avishka Fernando added 113 runs in total to complete the run chase within 15.4 overs. 

DA lost their last game against CS by 9 runs. Niroshan Dickwella scored 62 runs off 41 balls to add to a total of 165 runs. Lahiru Kumara was the only bowler effective against them. He took four wickets and did everything he can to restrict the flow of runs. In the second innings, Dambulla’s top five batters performed cumulatively and added most of the runs. The tailenders failed miserably to score any double-digit which led to their defeat by such a narrow margin. Lakmat, Drakes and Janat were the architects of Colombo’s victory. They picked two wickets a piece and ensured that the opposition batters can’t get the scoreboard ticking.
