Trent Boult becomes the leading run scorer at eleven in tests
Trent Boult surpasses Muthiah Muralidharan to achieve this peculiar feat
On Tuesday during the fifth and final day of the second test between New Zealand and England a rare and unique feat was achieved by NZ speedster Trent Boult. Known for his proficiency as a left arm pacer, the 32 year old grabbed attention when he surpassed Muthiah Muralidharan to become the leading run scorer at the eleventh position.
Boult achieved this feat on the fifth and final day of the all-important second Test match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham as both England and the Kiwis have been involved in a tug-of-war to come out on top. A win for the hosts will be good enough to seal the three-match series while a Black Caps victory would ensure that they live to fight another day.
