The Elimination round of the UAE T10 League 2022 will be played between the Abu Dhabi and the Deccan Franchise. The match is scheduled at the sole venue Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The game will be played on Saturday, 3rd December 2022. 

The Deccan franchise emerged as the winner of the 2021-22 edition and would like to continue proving their dominance in this league. The ex-Indian batsman and the experienced Indian T20 League specialist, Suresh Raina has also joined their side this season. Other key players from the team include Andre Russell and Josh Little. 

On the other hand, Abu Dhabi finished joint third in the last season of the UAE T10 League. Their top order is a potential threat to the opponents with explosive batsmen like Alex Hales and Chris Lynn. Also, they have consistent wicket-taking bowlers like Naveen ul Haq and Andrew Tye. 

According to the present status of the point table, TAD stands in the third position with 4 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. Whereas the Deccan side is just below them with 4 wins and 3 losses in 7 matches.

TAD lost the previous game against NYS in the final group stage fixture, whereas the Deccans also faced a defeat against the Morrisville Samp Army. Both the winning teams are clashing in qualifier 1 today and the teams in the third and fourth spots i.e. TAD & DG are battling it out in the Eliminator.
