The fans are ready to witness yet another fierce encounter in the UAE T20 League 2022. The 5th match will be played between CB & NYS on Thursday, 24th November at 10:00 PM. 

The Chennai franchise had been a part of this tournament since the last season. They failed miserably in the last season of the league. Their performance was so poor that they won only 1 match out of a total of 10 games played. Their loss of 9 matches made them sit at the bottom of the points table. This made them change some key positions in their squad. It is still not sure who is going to lead the side. Laurie Evans and Ben Duckett are two key batters from the team. They have some of the best all-rounders present in the tournament in the form of Sikandar Raza, Dasun Shanaka and Ross Whiteley. They also have safe options behind the wickets. Bhanuka Rajapaksha and Vriitya Aravind are two of their keepers. Carlos Brathwaite is a power-hitting option and can turn out to be dangerous in the middle overs. Their bowling side seems to be well-designated with Obed McCoy being the key bowler along with Maheesh Theekshana, James Fuller, Olly Stone, Sam Cook, Karthik Meiyappan, and Sabir Rao. Olly Stone has been in good form which resulted in him getting selected for the national side of England. Dawid Malan is also a part of the squad and we cannot question his potential in short formats of white ball cricket. 

On the other side, NYS are the newcomers in this league and has got the services of some of the best T20 batters in white ball cricket. This is their second match after facing BT in the inaugural encounter. But we are pretty sure that NYS is going to be the dark horse and will give a tough time to their opponents this season. 

NYS has got the likes of Eoin Morgan and Mohammad Waseem as the star batters in the team. Some real big names from t20 cricket are present in their squad and will hopefully be shining in this tournament. Kieron Pollard, Paul Stirling, and Jordan Thompson are some of the all-rounders to keep an eye on. Also, Andre Fletcher had represented his national team West Indies in 54 T20 matches and 25 ODIs and he is the wicket-keeper batter from the side who has the potential to hit big sixes. 

Their bowling department is also very experienced and they will surely be a great team overall combined. Wahab Riaz is the leader of the bowling pack and will be assisted by Romario Shepherd, Akeal Hosein and Kesrick Williams. Some other bowlers present in the team are Ravi Rampaul, Tom Hartley, Izharulhaq Naveed, Mohammad Farooq, and Nav Pabreja. Their experienced side will provide them with an added advantage as they are playing for the first time in this tournament. We are sure they will be a tough side to face in this UAE T10 League.
