Preview 

West Indies will play Bangladesh in the first ODI of the three match series on Sunday (July 10). The team led by Nicholas Pooran defeated the guests in a three-match T20 series and looked in terrific shape. In the ODI series, Bangladesh will be attempting to make a comeback and settle the score. 

West Indies have shown themselves to be reliable with both bat and ball as the Pooran era has started off well. With the exception of a defeat to Pakistan in an ODI series, the Pooran-led team has been improving. With Mayers, Shai Hope, and Brandon King manning the plate, the batting has looked impressive.

Bangladesh, on the other side, will be hopeful that a change in format will help them. They are second in the Super League and have been playing well in one-day internationals. Tamim Iqbal, the team's starting batter, is back, which could be a huge help for them. In two T20Is, the batting has not performed well, and they will be looking to turn that around in the ODI series.
