SL-W are set to face ML-W in match number 14 of the Women’s Asia T20 2022 at the Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium on Saturday, October 8. ML-W are tottering at the bottom of the table and are yet to win a game this year. SL-W on the other hand are placed fourth with two wins and one loss in the three games they have played thus far. 

After suffering defeat in their opening tie against India, SL-W have bounced back with two back to back wins against UAE and Thailand. In the last game against Thailand, the Lankan lioness came up with their A-game to register a convincing 49 run win. Harshita Madavi has been their key player with bat in hand. She has scored runs consistently and enabled the team to finish well. Skipper Chamari Attapatu is going through a lean patch at the moment but we fancy her to do well and get back amongst the runs against a fragile looking Malaysian side.
