The Indian women’s team will battle it out against Thailand Women in the Semi Final 1 of Women’s Asia T20 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet on Thursday, October 13. The women in blue will be full of confidence ahead of the tie having thrashing the same opponent on Monday by nine wickets. The Harmanpreet Kaur led side has only lost one game thus far, in the ongoing tournament. Kaur and co will be looking to avenge the 2018 Malaysia loss and reclaim the Asian crown 

Thailand Women on the other hand have done well in patches. They pulled off a miraculous heist against Pakistan and then lost to India in the following game. Thailand got lucky with the way they entered the semis as the decider between UAE and Bangladesh was called off due to rain, handing the Thais a spot in the semis. The side has played some decent all round cricket and they would be eager to extend their historical run with a place in the finals.
