Another win and Real Madrid is getting closer to the La Liga trophy!

The Los Blancos are on a song! At this moment, the team is winning without the midfield trio of Kroos, Modric and Casemiro and their young brigade didn’t even miss them. Without the senior pros in the side, the fans were a bit sceptical but the kind of football Camavinga and Ceballos played; the fans will be more than happy to know that their future is sorted.

On Wednesday, Real Madrid comfortably won against Osasuna even though Karim Benzema missed two penalties in seven minutes. An early goal from David Alaba helped the Madrid-based club to take the lead but the advantage was for a brief period of time as Ante Budamir equalised right in the next minute. After a lot of grinding in the first half, the Blancos were happy going into the dressing room as Marco Asensio made it 2-1 just before the break.

The penalty misses came in the 52nd and in the 59th minute respectively but Real Madrid didn’t look concerned. Rodrygo however deserves the credit for winning two penalties in such a quick amount of time and it could have killed the match then and there. Carlo Ancelotti, the Italian manager of Real Madrid introduced Vinicius Jr. in the 90th minute of the match and he took just six minutes to contribute and to make an impact. In the added time, Isco set up a beautiful ball to Vini but the young Brazilian failed to convert it. He however recovered quickly and set up a ball for Lucas Vazquez and the Spaniard made no mistake to convert it! With that, the giants of Spanish Football defeated Osasuna by 3-1 and they need only 4 points to seal the La Liga trophy!

Now, apart from goal scorers, two players deserve special mention and they are Dani Ceballos and Eduardo Camavinga. Now, Camavinga is well-known as he is balling in almost every match but Ceballos gets very little game time. Now, a start in a La Liga game is a reward of his hard work and the boy stepped up big time. It’s too early to say whether he has a future in the club as Real Madrid is eyeing for a creative midfielder but he surely can be an option.
