Sri Lanka's late fightback in the last game earned them a hard fought victory against the visitors. Although, the Indian team was without the services of their regular players, still we think the hosts put up a decent all round show to outshine their opposition. Batting first India were a little too cautious with their approach. They struggled with their timing and eventually perished trying to up the ante. Lankan bowlers did exceptionally well to create pressure on the opposition’s batting unit. They bowled to their field, hit the right areas and used the playing conditions to their advantage. The deck for the second T20I was on the slower side and batting was a little tricky. We expect a similar kind of surface for the series finale. While Sri would look to capitalize on the winning momentum, the men in blue would look forward to getting their combination right in the final game.
