England Women and South Africa Women will lock horns in the 7th match of the Commonwealth Games T20I Women’s Cricket Competition on Tuesday, 2nd August 2022 at Edgbaston in Birmingham in a group stage encounter.

England Women have secured a comfortable win over Sri Lanka Women by five wickets in their first game of the tournament. While bowling first, the English team successfully restricted Sri Lanka to a low-scoring total of 106 runs for a loss of 9 wickets. Afterwards, they finished the game in just 17.1 overs to register their first win. 

On the opposite side, South Africa Women finished their first game with disappointment, as they lost to New Zealand Women. Batting first, New Zealand drafted a fairly strong total of 167/2 on the board. Despite such efforts, South Africa Women fell short of 13 runs ending the game at 154/7.

England Women started their Commonwealth Games with a dramatic win and are also fair-haired to win the tournament.
