After getting bashed in the hands of New Zealand, India and Australia, team England will now face a relatively easy side to once again get back in shape. They have made some massive changes and dropped some big names including Jimmy Anderson, Jos Buttler and so many others. West Indies, on the other hand, will be playing their first test in quite some time. They have the best possible chance to get the better of England and prove to everyone that they are a serious test side who have the right vision for the game.

More than West Indies, this is a massive test for England. They are desperate to win as they have no other option left. His team is playing some poor red ball cricket for quite some time now and the English press is just behind them like they always are here. Results matter a lot for England and most importantly they need to get convinced that they are on the right track. Captain Joe Root needs to take some bold decisions and not just lead with his bat in hand. Some of the bold decisions taken by the selectors are still getting hammered by the fans. So, can England do something different, get out of their skin and play extraordinary cricket? Well, they should. If against the West Indies they can’t, then they should give up playing test cricket.

This however isn’t any insult to the Caribbean’s. They are a good team with some talented individuals but just like Kieron Pollard said, it looks like they love test cricket but aren’t that good at it. Things have changed though. This West Indies team is much more compact and can create a tough challenge for England. One can expect a cracking contest.
