Pakistan Women will lock horns with Malaysia Women in the inaugural encounter of the Women’s Asia T20 2022. The match is scheduled at the  Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium on Sunday, 2nd October. Pakistan Women were gloomy in the Women’s Commonwealth Games T20, 2022 as they failed to claim victory in even one game. They would be confident against the Malaysian side and hope to get a winning start in the inaugural match of the Continental Cup tournament. 

Pakistan led by Bismah Maroof has got a lot of match winners in their team in both the batting and the bowling departments. Nida Dar the talismanic all-rounder is the leading wicket-taker in the T20I format and is the best player in the team to rely on. Fatima Sana and Diana Baig have also impressed with the bat in hand in the past few years. 

Pakistan Women’s team will face a slight backlash on the batting side as barring Bismah Maroof and Nida Dar, the rest of the squad have shown no signs of consistency. They would definitely hope that their top and middle-order batters take more responsibility while playing the future matches.
