Rumours and facts concerning the transfer market in the Premier League!

With another new season fast approaching; all the teams are getting ready for an action-packed festival in the Premier League. A new season brings new enthusiasm, new fans, and more passion but most importantly some new players who can help your team get an inch closer to the desired result. Even after winning the English Championship this season, Manchester City roped in Erling Haaland in the summer to strengthen their squad and finally go for their maiden Champions League title. Their arch rivals in modern history on the other hand signed Darwin Nunez, the Uruguayan sensation who made quite an impact in the Portuguese league last year. Liverpool missed their 7th Champions League title by a whisker but with Nunez upfront, Klopp will be more than ready to go for it once again!

However, with new players coming in, many are scheduled to depart their club and here are all the rumours and facts that are doing the rounds in the market concerning Premier League.

  1. Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal – A lot of clubs were interested to sign the Brazilian forward but Jesus is now very close to joining the Gunners. Real Madrid wanted to sign him as a back-up for Karim Benzema but Jesus wanted to remain in the Premier League. After winning multiple titles with Manchester City, Jesus will leave the club for 50 million Euros. However, it is rumoured that the 25-year-old may end up playing for Spurs as Antonio Conte wants a back-up of Harry Kane. Now, it is up to the Brazilian to decide whether he wants to play Champions League football as a back-up striker or compete to win the Europa League.
  1. Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich – With Luis Diaz playing exceptionally well, Sadio Mane’s time at Liverpool is about to come to an end. The duo of Mohammed Salah and Mane were very instrumental for the success of Liverpool under Klopp and thus him leaving the club is a sad one for the fans. He is currently scheduled to have his medical on Tuesday after completing a switch to Munich. Liverpool is supposed to receive 35 million Euros from his transfer.
  1. Raheem Sterling to Chelsea – After signing Haaland and Julian Alvarez, City are off loading their attacking options and thus, Sterling is on the verge of leaving the club. Chelsea is all set to buy the English forward as Thomas Tuchel is very keen to work with the 27-year-old. City is looking for around 60 million Euros but with just one year left on his current contract, Chelsea should sign him at a much cheaper rate.

Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan – Termed as one of the worst signing in the Premier League history by the pundits, Romelu Lukaku is set to return to Inter after spending just one year in his boyhood club. The blues spent more than 90 million Euros in the last summer window to bring him back to London but neither his performance nor his attitude could impress the fans. He was bound to leave the club for this move did cost Chelsea a big fortune. Inter is expected to sign him on a loan deal and is ready to pay 7 million Euros as his loan fee. Chelsea wants him to leave the club but believes the amount to be a bit low at the moment.
  1. Frankie De Jong to Manchester United – Erik Ten Hag, the newly appointed boss of Manchester United wants to reunite with his former player Frankie De Jong at Manchester United. The red devils did bid for the player but Barcelona turned down the offer. The player has expressed his desire to stay in Barcelona but because of their financial issue, they might have to sell him to United. The Dutch International can prove to be a massive signing per United is concerned as he can bring the much needed stability in the midfield.
  1. Anthony to Manchester United – The Ajax winger has impressed one and all in the last season. His dribbling skill is doing the rounds in the social media and thus the fans are very excited to get him signed. Again, Anthony has previously worked with Ten Hag in the past and that is why they have a strong relationship. A move to Manchester can help the Red Devils strengthen their wing section.
  1. Bernado Silva to Barcelona – It is only a rumour so far but Barcelona will go all out to sign him in case Frankie leaves the Catalan club. Xavi is a big fan of this Portuguese and thus wants to sign the 27-year-old.

  2. Cesar Azpilicueta to Barcelona – The Chelsea captain has a two-year offer from the Barcelona camp as his tenure in the Chelsea will come to an end at the end of the month. Dani Alves is no longer a part of the Barcelona squad and Azpilicueta can be a very good replacement for the Catalan club. Chelsea however wants to retain their captain and it is now up to the player to decide.

  3. Ousmane Dembele to Chelsea - A big fan of his skill, Xavi wants the Frenchman to stay but the club failed to offer a contract that will make him happy. Dembele himself wants to continue in Barcelona but in the end, he might end up playing for Chelsea. Chelsea wants to sign this young prospect and improve their wing section.
  1. Christian Erikson – Just a few months back, Erikson had no club as no one really wanted to sign the Denmark International after his sudden heart-attack in the middle of the pitch during the Euro Cup. Now, as many as three clubs wants to sign him and he needs to make his decision fast. Brentford gave a chance to him after his heart-attack and thus, they want to bring him back in the club. However, his former club Tottenham Hotspurs wants him back at London. He however is close to sign for Manchester United on a free transfer.
