India Women will cross swords with Australia Women for the fourth time in the five-match T20I series. The match is scheduled at 07:00 PM on Saturday, December 17 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The Aussies won the last match and India would definitely try to level the series 2-2 in order to keep their hopes alive of winning the series in the final match.

The defending T20 and ODI champions Australia are ahead 2-1 in the five-match series after clinching victory in the first and third matches. The first match was played at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi, Mumbai where the Women in Blue failed to defend a total of 172 runs and lost by 9 wickets. Beth Mooney smashed 89 runs off 57 balls to power the innings to a great victory. The second match was played at the same stadium which was won by the home team in a super over thriller. The last match was played on December 14 at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai in which the Indian batters failed to build a good partnership and fell short of the run chase by just 21 runs in a 173-run chase. Opening batter Shafali Verma was the only batter who contributed crucial 51 runs but went in vain as the team lost wickets frequently resulting in losing the game. The fourth match is also set to be played in the same stadium and hopefully, this will serve as a chance for the Indian side to learn from their previous mistakes and level the series 2-2.
