Hurricanes and Strikers will lock horns in match 22 of the Aus T20 League 2021 on Monday. After two back to back defeats, Hurricanes finally won their first game on home soil against Stars by 24 runs. Strikes on the other hand are toterring at the sixth position in league standings and are in a spot of bother after three consecutive losses. They will need to sort out their batting concerns in order to avoid another humiliation. 

Hurricanes look a completely different side when their top order fires and we saw exactly that in their previous game. Batting first the men in purple posted a competitive total of 180. Ben Mcdermott top scored with 67. Wade, Short and David played crucial cameos to help Hurricanes reach a mammoth total. Stars in reply could only muster 156 runs. Riley Meridith and Thomas picked three wickets apiece. Matthew wade will be hoping his men to carry on the rejuvenated form and extend their winning streak. 

Strikers are struggling to find their feet in the tournament thus far. With a solitary win under their belt, the former champions will be keen to make a mark on Monday. Batting looks woeful without Travis Head and Alex Carey. Jake Weatherald will need to shoulder the responsibility and score a few runs to up the tale of a timid batting unit. Matthew Short has done well in patches but has failed to create any significant impact on the tournament. The 26 year old is another key player in this unit.
