It’s time to shift focus to red ball cricket, as the two giants of world test cricket will meet each other in an all-important first test match of the five match series. Virat Kohli’s men will take the field in search of revenge for the last England tour, where India lost the series by 4-1 back in 2018. The Indian team changed their style of play in the last couple of years and now England will face a tough challenge as compared to the last tour. The conditions certainly favours the home side at Nottingham but the Indian spinners will come into play as the game progresses. The Indian team will be delighted to face off against a tough English side at Trent Bridge, as the men in blue managed only one victory in the last tour, and that too at the same venue. The  visitors need to put up a decent show with the bat in hand. Last tour was horrendous ,particularly for our batting unit as they failed miserably. If India were to get anywhere close to bagging a favourable result, the top order needs to do well.
