The second game of the Pak T20 League 2022 will be played between Quetta and Peshawar at the National Stadium, Karachi on Friday. As both teams will kick start their campaign with this fixture, they would be resolute to make a winning start. Quetta will fight for redemption as they suffered a torrid time last year. With 2 wins in 10 games, the Sarfaraz Ahmed led side finished the league stage at the bottom place. Peshawar on the other hand had an impressive 2021 edition and even advanced to finals. Nothing went right for Quetta in the previous season. They will look to avenge last year’s failures with a convincing win against the Zalmis. Batting department comprises Lawrence and Duckett at top. While Lawrence is recognized for his premium hitting, Duckett is well known for playing the big knocks. He is also coming on the back of a successful Aus T20 League. At three, four and five Quetta have Sarfaraz, Iftikhar and Umar respectively. Hetmeyer and Faulkner to follow at six and seven. Hetmeyer can walk in early depending upon the kind of the start they get. So, overall the Gladiators possess a decent batting lineup. Bowling prowess comprises the likes of Nasim Shah, Sohail Tanveer and Mohommad Hasnain. The men in purple will look to start the 2022 edition with a big win. 

Peshawar impressed one and all with their strong all round show in 2021. Last year’s runner up will look to continue the heroics from the sixth season. Batting department looks potent with Akmal, Zazai and Ali in the mix. It also features veteran Shoaib Malik who adds immense value to this batting lineup.
