NYS will cross swords with DG in the final match of the UAE T10 League, 2022. The match is scheduled at the sole venue, Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The game will commence at 7:45 pm on Sunday, 4th December 2022. 

The New York-based franchise is one of the two new franchises in this league along with Morrisville Samp Army. While the Samp Army will battle it out for the third position with the Abu Dhabi-based franchise. NYS are the best-performing side in the tournament right now. They had played seven league matches and won six of them. They just lost one match and were the leaders of the points table. NYS was the first team to get promoted to the finals as they defeated the Morrisville Samp Army by 4 wickets in the Qualifier-1 match. 

On the other side, the Deccan franchise is the defending champion in this league and is a strong, experienced side. They did not perform well in the middle of the tournament and were in fourth place with three losses. But they turned the table in the elimination round where they defeated back-to-back two opponents to qualify for the finals. First, they defeated TAD in the Eliminator by a narrow margin of 5 runs and then the Morrisville Samp Army by a huge 8-wicket margin. Their performance in the last two matches was amazing and they would like to continue the rhythm to win the final game.
