India set to play against West Indies in the US

India is set to tour in the United States of America for a couple of T20Is in the month of August. The full-fledged white ball series will comprise of three One Day Internationals and five T20Is. The last two T20Is are scheduled to take place in the United States while the rest of the matches will be played in the Caribbean. This is not the first time that team India will travel to the States as the team has already played six matches in that region.

According to reports, Florida and Lauderhill are likely to host the fourth and fifth T20Is. After playing against England, the team is scheduled to fly to the West Indies for the series. The schedule of the series has not been announced yet but it will very much end before the 3rd week as the Caribbean T20 League is scheduled to start on 29th of August.

The West Indian board will host the 2024 T20 World Series along with the USA. Thus, the plan is to develop cricketing culture in the nation and the West Indian board is giving their best in order to do so. An Indian official who’s tracking the development has said, “There has not been much international cricket in the US of late and if these games are played there, it is good for cricket in the US”.
