“Pakistan should learn from India”: This Player slams the Pakistan Board for ignoring Test

Ex-Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria once again takes a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board for organising the Champions One-Day Cup instead of keeping their focus on Test Cricket. Bangladesh recently humbled the Men in Green in the Test series. Kaneria states that if Pakistan keeps preferring white-ball cricket over the Test format, the batters would be unable to play more than 50 overs in red-ball matches.

“Pakistan are busy with the One-Day Cup despite getting insulted by Bangladesh in the Test series. There are no proper Test players in the country. If you only think about the ODI format, your players won’t last more than 50 overs in Test matches. If Test cricket is a problem, you should work on it,” he said.

The former spinner also mentioned that Pakistan should learn from India.

“Pakistan Cricket Board doesn’t want to improve Test cricket. They should learn from India. Four teams are playing in the Duleep Trophy, with the leading cricketers taking part in the tournament. They are preparing for Test matches,” he added.

Kaneria also added that the Men in Blue would also be able to defeat Bangladesh easily in the forthcoming two-match Test series.

“Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in Pakistan, but they will get hammered by India. They will not be able to stand in front of the Indian team. Bangladesh have good spinners, but Indian batters have done their homework in the Duleep Trophy.”

The first Test match between India and Bangladesh will start on September 19 in Chennai.
