AB De Villiers eyes to make his return in Bangalore
AB De Villiers aims to return back to Bangalore in some different capacity!
The prodigal son is all set to return to his ‘second home’ as AB De Villiers confirmed that the South African will return to the Indian T20 League next year. Even though nothing is official at the moment but Virat Kohli, the former captain of the side wants his friend to come back into the set-up and without a doubt it will happen.
There can very well be a race between a few franchises to bring De Villiers back into Indian T20 League but the former South African International aims to return to his home. “I will definitely be around the Indian T20 League next year. I would love to return to my second hometown”, said De Villiers in an interview.
De Villiers announced his retirement from all formats of the game last year. His bitter relationship with the South African board ruined his International cricket towards the end but the legend played various T20 tournaments all around the globe and there’s hardly anyone who the 38-year-old didn’t impress or entertain. Thus, fans all over the world are eagerly waiting to see De Villiers make his return to the game and be a part of this cash-rich tournament.
“I will be around Bangalore next year, I am missing it, don't know in which capacity but I would like to visit my second home which is Chinnaswamy stadium -- I am looking forward to it”, said the 6th highest run scorer of the tournament.
