Another Day, Another Back-and-forth between Mbappe and PSG
Mbappe's transfer to Los Blancos: More or less it will be completed
The 25-year-old wunderkind Kylian Mbappe's move from PSG to Real Madrid is becoming more real. It is reported that a French man's transfer process only requires a few small details to be finalized before an official agreement is reached. Several days ago, the swashbuckling striker was reported to have informed PSG about his plans to leave next summer. Mbappe chose to leave the Ligue 1 club on a free transfer.
Although the PSG ace striker still has to discuss further the agreement with PSG, the 25-year-old forward's destination club is already known. Mbappe will almost certainly choose to join the Spanish Giants Real Madrid. Now, journalist Fabrizio Romano provides the latest update on Mbappe's transfer process to Los Blancos.
According to Romano, Mbappe is currently finalizing several details of the process of his move to the 14-time UCL winners Real Madrid. If everything is finished, then an agreement between the two parties will be reached. "Mbappe has received an official contract proposal from Real Madrid since January, the final details are being finalized," wrote Romano on his X(Twitter) and Instagram accounts. "There are no ongoing negotiations between him and any other club so far the full focus is on Mbappe's move to Real Madrid."
Furthermore, Romano also reiterated that Mbappe's basic salary at Real Madrid will be almost the same as the salary earned by two Los Blancos stars, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. However, it is claimed that Mbappe will receive a very large recruitment fee from the current La Liga table toppers Real Madrid. "The image rights structure is being finalized so that all documents are ready and signed at the right time," Romano said. "As soon as Kylian signs for Madrid, the French club PSG will start preparing the official confirmation of his departure with Mbappe himself also involved in the club's final communications."
It is believed that Mbappe himself will get the number 10 jersey at Real Madrid, in line with the Spanish capital club's plans to release Luka Modric at the end of the season.
