Arsenal will host Bayern Munich in the first league of QF in the UCL

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta asked his team not to focus too much on Harry Kane ahead of the duel against Bayern Munich on Tuesday. The 42-year-old Spanish head coach said Die Roten had many dangerous players besides Harry Kane. The English club Arsenal will hold a fiery match where they will host Bayern Munich in the first leg of the 2023/2024 Champions League quarter-finals on 09th April 2024.

Ahead of this match, Harry Kane's figure is in the spotlight and the English striker is Bayern Munich's main goal machine this season, where he has scored more than 30 goals this season. Even so, Arteta believes that the Gunners’ focus in this match should be focused on more than Harry Kane since he thinks Die Roten has many dangerous players besides the 30-year-old striker.

In his press conference ahead of this match, Arteta reminded Arsenal not to only focus on the figure of Harry Kane in this match. He said the Bayern Munich squad had many star players and they could pose many threats to the Arsenal squad. "We shouldn't just focus on Harry Kane and the other 10 Bayern players. We know that Bayern have many quality players in their team, one of which is Kane," said Arteta.

The Spanish head coach admits that Kane is a very deadly goal machine. However, he said that if Arsenal could turn off the ball supply to the striker, they could make Kane helpless in this match. "You can see that his [Kane] goal record is truly extraordinary in the last few years. He can score goals in various ways," continued Arteta. "But he can only score goals if he gets a supply of balls from his teammates around him. So we have to be able to kill the players around him," concluded the coach.

In this match, Arsenal can be able to field their best team against Bayern Munich. There was only one of their players who was absent from the match, namely Jurrien Timber.
