The first finalist of the ongoing Asia ODI series 2023 team India will take on Bangladesh, who are already eliminated from the tournament. Rohit Sharma-led India is the only unbeaten team in the tournament so far who have successfully defeated the likes of Nepal, Pakistan And Sri Lanka in the series. Men in Blue will face the Bangla Tigers in the last match of the Super 4s on Friday, 15th September 2023 Live from R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The result of this match is not going to impact either side as India has already sealed its berth for the final and the Shakib Al Hasan-led side has not won any match in the Super 4s and they can't make it to the final anyhow now. However, Bangladesh will fight for the pride to beat India and end their winning streak in the competition.

Rohit Sharma-led India has been in excellent form in the last three matches of the Asia ODI series. Big names on the side have all contributed with the bat and the ball. On the other hand, BAN has a poor record playing against IND at neutral venues. BAN hasn't won a game against India at a neutral venue in the last 15 years. It will be interesting to see if the side can pull off a surprise here.

India is through to the final after their 41-run win against Sri Lanka in the last game while defending 214 runs. IND has been clinical in its approach in the last three games after their hiccup in their first Super 4s match against arch-rival Pakistan, who was humiliated by the team India with a huge margin of 228 runs. IND's top order has scored runs, and the bowlers are in good form. The skipper Rohit Sharma is the leading run-scorer of the side so far in the series, and the 36-year-old right-handed batter would like a big win here to build momentum ahead of the final.

All-rounder Shakib al Hasan and his side have been through a disastrous tournament campaign. Apart from the win against AFG in the group stage, BAN hasn't met the expectations and they went down by 21 runs against SL in their last game and have no chance of making it to the next round. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan would like to end the tournament on a high, and a win against India will be a big confidence booster ahead of the World ODI Series in October.
