 The Scorchers were defeated in their last game by the Melbourne Renegades. This match featured one of the most remarkable comebacks in the Australia T20 League history. After posting a total of 147 runs on the scoreboard, the Renegades went down to a problematic position, losing 4 wickets at only 10 runs. Victory seemed to favour the Scorchers until Will Sutherland (70 runs off 45 balls) and Tom Rogers (49* off 31 balls) orchestrated a stunning 92-run partnership that shifted the game's momentum in favour of REN, resulting in a loss for Perth in the final over of the match by a 4 wicket margin.
