The second match of the Caribbean T20 League 2024 will be played between Antigua and Barbuda Falcons and Guyana Amazon Warriors at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday, August 31. 

ABF led by Chris Green did not have a good start to their campaign as they lost the season opener against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by just a wicket margin. The Falcons batted first and posted 163 runs at the loss of 4 wickets with the services of Fakhar Zaman (43 off 32) and Jewel Andrew (50* off 30). The Patriots chased down the total with just one wicket to spare. Kyle Mayers scored the most runs (39 off 24) to help St Kitts and Nevis get over the line. Despite Shamar Springer’s four-wicket haul, ABF failed to restrict SKN in the inaugural match of the series.

On the other hand, GUY, under the leadership of Imran Tahir will play their first game of the season and look forward to making a strong statement from the very onset. The Warriors are the defending champions and are considered one of the most consistent teams in this tournament who are well known for their perfect starts.
