Darwin Nunez frustration revealed by Klopp after the Uruguyan's match winning performace against Newcastle

10-man Liverpool pulled off a miraculous 2-1 come from behind win at Newcastle courtesy a late Darwin brace. The 24 year old didn’t start the match but was called off the bench to seal all three points away from home. He first hit an equaliser in the 81st minute then followed it with a last gasp 93rd minute winner to get the job done for his side. After the match, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that the Uruguayan was not pleased with his substitute role. 

 "I understand the question, it's clear he's not happy," Klopp said when asked about Nunez starting all of Liverpool's opening three league games on the bench. "He will play, there's no doubt about that. We need everyone. We need to find a way of playing. This is a new team with new key players. It needs time. He scores two goals and can't get the smile off his face. For the team, it was super important. You need these things together. You cannot force it."

Anthony Gordon broke the deadlock in the 25th minute making the most of the blunder committed by Alexander Arnold. Soon after Virgil Van Dijk was sent off for a reckless challenge on Alexander Isak. With a goal behind and ten men on the field, Liverpool had a herculean task of securing a victory inside sixty minutes. Nunez came in as a substitute in the second half to bring some life into the game . He looked sharp and eager to contribute and eventually was rewarded with two goals. 

Darwin has thus far failed to win over Liverpool fans since his move to Anfield last summer. He showed worlds of confidence while dispatching the two goals on Sunday and will be hoping to carry forward his good run in the season.
