Klopp and Guardiola faced last time together in an Inter-city rivalry in EPL?

Liverpool and Manchester City's duel ended 1-1 at Anfield. This appears to be Jurgen Klopp and Josep Guardiola's final duel in the Premier League. Liverpool host Liverpool in match week 28 of the 2023/2024 Premier League on Sunday(10th March 2024). Liverpool and Man City must be equally happy with sharing points in this match.

I hope he will come back soon because football needs a personality like him." Guardiola admitted that he respects Klopp, who has been a rival for many years in the Premier League. “We don't need a hug to show that [respect]," Guardiola told Sky Sports. "He defends his club, I defend my club. Our history speaks for itself and we still have 10 games left, many things can happen."

As it stands Jürgen Klopp has won 12 of the previous 30 meetings, with Pep Guardiola has won 11 matches and six matches ended in a draw - including Community Shields. Klopp’s Liverpool has scored 46 goals in comparison to Guardiola’s Manchester City’s has scored 49 times on those occasions. Across their entire careers, The 53-year-old veteran head coach won 32 major trophies compared to the 56-year-old German coach’s 10 – but were it not for the former, the latter would have won far more.
