Eden Hazard reveals the name of the manager he did not like to work with

The 33-year-old Eden Hazard has recently spoken out about a coach he didn't like while working under him at Chelsea. The former Belgian striker played for the Blues between 2012 and 2019 and enjoyed much success, winning numerous trophies at Stamford Bridge. The forward has worked under several different coaches, including Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, Rafael Benitez, Maurizio Sarri, Roberto Di Matteo and Guus Hiddink. Hazard has revealed that despite his difficulties with the coach in question, he also praised the coach for bringing out the best in him while at Stamford Bridge.

On one occasion, Hazard said that Conte was able to bring out his best abilities, even though the player did not enjoy intense training sessions under the leadership of the Italian coach. "I think my best time at Chelsea was with Antonio Conte," said former Real Madrid striker. "But for training sessions, I don't enjoy it at all. All week training. I'm going out on Saturday, I have to enjoy it a bit because I know the next day I will be back at the training ground."

Under Conte, Hazard scored 34 goals in 94 appearances as the Blues won the Premier League and FA Cup. Despite being able to win the FA Cup in 2018, Conte was sacked by the Blues after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League, with Maurizio Sarri replacing him, the 54-year-old coach then coached Inter Milan and Tottenham.

"There are a lot of tactics. It's not always fun as a striker because you have to run, defend and everything, but at least at the weekend, you know exactly what to do, you can even close your eyes and play. That's good. "We worked a lot. It wasn't always easy in training, there were a lot of hours of practice, but it paid off on the pitch. We played well, we won at times. You can see that that's the key to success, namely hard work," continued Hazard.

Despite not enjoying his training methods, Hazard previously admitted that the former Juve coach had a big impact on him. Speaking after Conte's first season in charge of the club, the former Belgian star said he felt he had developed in just one week of working with the 54-year-old. "Even after a week of his coaching, I think I have grown with him," said Hazard. "But I think he has shown not only at Chelsea but also at Juve that he is a good coach and I think he has some good years ahead of him."
