Welsh Fire will square off against Northern Superchargers for the 21st match of the Hundred Ball Men’s 2024. The game is scheduled to be played at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on August 8. 

With two victories in their five matches, WEF are occupying the sixth spot in the points table. They cannot afford to lose this game in order to qualify for the playoffs. The Tom Abell-led side have struggled with the bat this season and this is one of the areas they would look forward to addressing with immediate effect. 

On the other side, NOS are just over them in the fifth spot in with one more win than Welsh. The Superchargers will just need another win to get closer to the playoff spot. Yet they have a concern as they went all out for just 83 runs in the previous game. But we think that they have a squad filled with match-winners which should be enough for the team to regain confidence.
