Hundred Ball Men’s started this season with a bang last week, the reigning champions Oval Invincibles(OVI) began their season with a win while Southern Brave(SOB) & Welsh Fire(WEF) also won their respective first matches. As the series progresses, WEF is now all geared up to take on OVI in the sixth game at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on 28th July(Sunday).
The Hosts WEF registered an 8-wicket win over Manchester Originals(MNR) in their first match of the tournament. Bowling first, Welsh restricted Manchester to 86 for the loss of 8 wickets. Invincibles played the inaugural game of this season against Birmingham Phoenix(BPH). Birmingham was bowled out for 89 in 81 balls, and Adam Zampa took three wickets giving just eleven runs. Both the English batters Dawid Malan (24*) and Sam Billings (31*) scored a 62-run unbeaten partnership to help OVI win the game with 31 balls to spare.

Pitch Report
The pitch is known for being slow and low, offering significant assistance to spinners as the game progresses. The surface tends to dry out quickly, creating cracks that aid spin bowlers in extracting turn and bounce. Batsmen may find it easier to score during the initial phase of the game when the pitch is fresh and hard.
The weather will be cloudy and humid with no chance of rain during the match. The temperatures will be between 11°C and 22°C.

Match Prediction
This will be an intense game as WEF and OVI have started their season with dominating victories. But Oval has the champions mentality. They have never lost a game against Welsh. OVI has a better bowling unit compared to the hosts. If Will Jacks come to the party, it will be impossible for the Welsh to win against the champions. We say WEF to win this match.
