Arsenal or Man City, who will win the EPL title?

Arsenal and Manchester City are competing fiercely in the 2023/2024 Premier League standings. So, if the final points for both teams are the same, who will be at the top of the standings and win the 2023/2024 EPL? Manchester City now leads the Premier League standings, the top of the standings belongs to Pep Guardiola's men after winning over Tottenham in the match postponed in Week 34 of the Premier League, Wednesday, 15 May 2024.

Man City got 88 points, two points ahead of Arsenal who are below it. Now, both teams have played 37 matches together. So, there is only one match left to determine who will win the Premier League, if Man City wins in match week 38, then they will automatically win. However, if Man City draws and Arsenal wins, then the points for both teams will be the same. In week 38, Man City will face West Ham at the Etihad Stadium meanwhile, at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal will host Everton.

The citizens can determine their fate in the 38th week. Man City will win if they win against West Ham, without having to wait for Arsenal's results. Well, the Blues have always won the last five matches and only conceded once however, there is a scenario that puts Man City in a difficult position. If Pep's men draw against West Ham and Arsenal wins against the toffees, their points will be the same, namely 89.

So, in that situation, according to the regulations, the goal difference determines the position in the standings. Currently, Arsenal (+61) has a better goal difference than Man City (+60). So, if the points are the same, Arsenal will win.
