Delhi (DEL) will look to bag theri first win at their traditional home at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday (April 24) as they take the field against Gujarat (GUJ) in match number 40. The clash will be the second instance inside a week these two sides meet in the Indian T20 League 2024 as the hosts eye a league double having already defeated GUJ at their home ground. This will be the fifth meeting between the teams with head to head even at 2-2 in the last four meetings. 

DEL fans witnessed a batting masterclass on Saturday in their first home match, though it came from their opposition, Hyderabad. DEL have thus far won only three matches and will be raring to secure points to stay in hunt for the playoff berth. Skipper Rishabh Pant will expect the likes of David Warner, Tristan Stubbs to come good with bat in hand. Pant himself will want to get some runs under his belt. 

GUJ come into this match on the back of an encouraging win over Punjab (PUN) and will aim to carry the winning momentum. They will seek revenge having lost the previous meeting with DEL at the Narendra Modi Stadium last week. The visitors are expected to make no changes to their playing XI with Sai Kishore making an instant impact.
